Government says disparities in accessing energy should be addressed urgently.
Speaking at the launch of the International Energy Forum for Africa Conference Gala Dinner Energy Minister Peter Kapala says there is need to enhance policy and regulation frame work to foster sustainable development.
“Zambia has embarked on an umbilicus enunciative aimed at transforming its energy land scape and driving sustainable development,” he said.
Mr. Kapala said, the president’s vision for Zambia energy sector encompasses comprehensive strategies that prioritizes innovation, accessibility affordability and sustainability.
Speaking at the same event Mimshach Engineering Consultants Chief Executive Officer Hope Chanda urged all stakeholders in the energy sector to bridge the gup between planning and implementation.
